Hi, I’m Halil Arda Özongun, a Computer Science student at Bilkent University, currently on an Erasmus exchange at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Portugal.

I’m passionate about generative deep learning, computer vision, and 3D vision. I work with Prof. Erkut Erdem and Prof. Aykut Erdem on diffusion-based models — including projects on low-light image enhancement and 360° panoramic video generation. Previously, I collaborated with Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Dündar at the DLR Lab, focusing on text-to-video synthesis and temporal consistency.

I was an intern at Ekinsoft, where I developed and optimized CNN- and ViT-based models. I enjoy exploring software engineering, system design, and site reliability engineering (SRE) in my personal projects. I also enjoy algorithmic problem solving and have achieved strong results in competitions such as BuCode and ALPOC.
